About Us

We are four Catholic young adults who have forged a friendship that crosses time zones.  We are committed to the Holy Catholic Church, and we’re trying our best to be good parents, spouses, lay ministers, co-workers and friends. Most importantly, we’re trying to keep our faith primary in the midst of the craziness of our lives.  We juggle jobs, ministries, swim practice, mandatory meetings, homework, and to do lists; our lives are often messy, but just as often, filled with moments of grace.

We live lives guided by the Holy Spirit, but we’re grounded in the real world…we watch TV, listen to music, enjoy a good beer, see movies, go shopping, love deeply, and enjoy life as it was meant to be enjoyed (John 10:10).  And we fail at all of it frequently…yup, we mess up a lot…

The Catholic Realist Crew

Joe Chernowski is a husband and father of 6 in Atlanta, GA.  He has a BA in Religious Studies and History from John Carroll University and an MA in Theology from Christ the King Seminary.  Recently, he stepped away from the full-time ministry world he’s known since he left college, and he’s figuring out a non-exciting corporate job. His beard has gone missing.
